The Town of Haut-Madawaska wishes to inform residents of a temporary full closure of Route 120 at Boundary Road and the railway crossing, near the Quebec/New Brunswick border.

Haut-Madawaska, August 13, 2025 – The Town of Haut-Madawaska wishes to inform residents and partners on the progress of the Centre J. Docithe-Nadeau renovation project, a major undertaking for the community.

The upcoming Extraordinary Public Meeting of the Town Council of Haut-Madawaska will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Office - Ward of Baker-Brook.

Due to the repair work on the Ward of Baker-Brook drinking water reservoir, drinking water service will be interrupted in the following area: Ouellette Street. The interruption is scheduled until 8 p.m.

The upcoming Extraordinary Public Meeting of the Town Council of Haut-Madawaska will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Office - Ward of Baker-Brook.

The Town of Haut-Madawaska has once again submitted a request to the CRTC and to the federal minister responsible, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, seeking improved cellular service across its territory.

The upcoming Extraordinary Public Meeting of the Town Council of Haut-Madawaska will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Office - Ward of Baker-Brook.

On Monday July 7th, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., we will proceed to the flushing of the ends of the drinking water distribution system.
