First Quasar school of the International Organization of Conscious Entrepreneurial Community Schools (OIECEC) in the world, the CAHM stands out for its use of ICT in every student’s school path. From kindergarten to eighth grade, everyone learns to use the technologies to accomplish a variety of projects. Additionally, there is a Creative Lab where kids can create, imagine, invent and develop projects according to their interests. ECEL: École communautaire Ernest-Lang, Ward of Saint-Francois 

The École communautaire Ernest-Lang serves 62 students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The “community” notion present in the name fits well because of the volunteers who consistently give their time to ensure kids well-being by organizing activities of all kinds. They make sure students have diverse free after-school activities (on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays): dancing, painting, cardio, etc. The school also organizes activities for three- and four-year-olds to help prepare them for school entry.
