Policy # 2024-06 - Residential, commercial and industrial development incentives

At its regular public meeting on December 17, 2024, the Council of the City of Haut-Madawaska adopted Policy No. 2024-06 - Incentives for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Development of the City of Haut-Madawaska. The instructions for submitting an application are outlined in the policy.

The adoption of this policy is a way for the City to support development within its territory, whether on municipally-owned land or privately-owned land.

Exemption from Water and Wastewater Service Fees – New Residential or Multi-Unit Building Constructions

At its regular public meeting on May 14, 2024, the Council adopted a resolution stating that new residential or multi-unit building constructions that are serviced by the City's water and wastewater system will be exempt from service fees for a period of three years.
