Notice of intention to change the composition of the Council

As required by subsection 45(1) of the Local Governance Act, Haut-Madawaska Town Council informs residents that it will consider adopting a municipal by-law amending the composition of the municipal council in anticipation of the municipal elections of May 2026.

The proposed by-law will be submitted for its first reading during Municipal Council’s Regular Meeting of September 16, 2025, at 7 p.m., at the Municipal Office, Ward of Baker-Brook (3851, Principale Street).

The proposed by-law will then be available for examination in the By-Laws under development section of the municipal website or at the administration offices, at the Municipal Office, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., during working days.
